    Modem Einwahl scheitert

    Ich versuche mich untert Red Hat 8.0 mit einen externen Modem

    über /dev/ttyS0 einzuwählen. Durch unsere telefon Anlage komme ich mit
    0,, und den string atx1 den ich bei "Keien Freizeichenkennung " eingetragen habe

    Ich nutze KPPP als grafisches Tool

    So jetzt zu den Prob ich wähle mich ein und in den Moment
    wo man von windows kennt das Benutzername und Passwort Authentifiefert werden soll
    wählt Linux wieder neu an


    warum ?

    als authentiefzierung nehme ich PAP


    danke für eure hilfe imk vorraus

    Hallo Thallez,

    interessant wäre jetzt auch deine Config-Datei für kppp und die Bezeichnung des verwendeten Modems.

    Hast du deinen Lautsprecher bei der Einwahl eingeschaltet? Wenn ja, kriegt dein Modem eine (freie) Amtsleitung? (wahrscheinlich, nach dem Log.)

    ja bekommt es es wählt sich ein und dann wenn du ruche pause kommt in der die anmeldung passiert startet es den vorgang neu

    Das bedeutet, entweder stimmt deine Einwahlnummer nicht oder der String, den kppp ans Modem sendet oder deine Authentifizieriung.

    Ich wähle mich mit wvdial ein und erhalte folgende Ausgabe:

    --> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2
    ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2
    OK
    --> Modem initialized.
    --> Idle Seconds = 1800, disabling automatic reconnect.
    --> Sending: ATDT0191011

    CONNECT 33600/ARQ/V34/LAPM/V42BIS

    Bei dir sind im kppp-log zwei Kommata. Da würde ich mal genauer nachschauen.

    Ansonsten schai dir doch mal die Config-Datei von kppp an.
