Hallo,
ich habe auf meiner Testpartition Gentoo installiert. Ich bekomms einfach nicht hin Gentoo in den bestehenden Redhat Grub einzubauen. Gentoo ist nur auf /dev/hda1 installiert und hat keine extra /boot Partition.
Ich erhalte folgenden Fehler :
warning: unable to open an initial console.
kernel panic: no init found. Try passing init= option to kernel
Meine Partitionen :
/dev/hda1 Gentoo /
/dev/hda2 Swap
/dev/hdc cdrom
/dev/hdd cdrom
/dev/hde1 boot von Redhat, Gentoo hat keine boot Partition
/dev/hde2 Redhat /
/dev/hde3 /mnt/Storage
/dev/hdf1 /mnt/Mp3
/dev/hdg1 /mnt/Games
Meine grub.conf :
default=0
timeout=10
splashimage=(hd1,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-24.8.0)
root (hd1,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-24.8.0 ro root=LABEL=/ hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi
initrd /initrd-2.4.18-24.8.0.img
title Gentoo
root (hd0,0)
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/bzImage root=/dev/hda1 hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi
Meine Redhat /etc/fstab :
LABEL=/ / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0

/dev/cdrom1 /mnt/cdrom1 iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
Meine Gentoo /etc/fstab :
# <fs> <mountpoint> <type> <opts> <dump/pass>
/dev/hda1/boot /boot ext3 noauto,noatime 1 1
/dev/hda1 / ext3 noatime 0 0
/dev/hda2 none swap sw 0 0

/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
In der Gentoo /etc/fstab hab ich den Eintrag '/dev/hda1/boot /boot ext3 noauto,noatime 1 1' auch mal versucht auszukommentieren, weil ich mir nicht sicher war ob er das überhaupt braucht wenn /boot keine eigene Partition ist.
Ich häng nochmal meine Kernel Config an.
Wäre nett wenn ihr mir helfen könntet.
