Hallo Community,

hat jemand von Euch erfahrungen mit "Nagios" gemacht?

Ich brächte einmal Euere Hilfe:
Ich habe die Installation lt. Anweisung auf der HP von Nagios durchgeführt.
- ohne Probleme, Wunderbar -

Allerdings werden in meinem /usr/local/nagios - Verzeichnis nur 4 Ordner angelegt:
- bin
- sbin
- share
- var

Der Ordner etc fehlt.

Hatte jemand schon einmal dieses Phänomen?

Hab bei www.nagios.com etwas gefunden, das auch funktioniert hat.

Description:
After compiling and installation Nagios, user discovers that the etc subdirectory off the installation point (i.e. /usr/local/nagios/etc) is missing.


Solution:
This is normal for a new install. The etc subdirectory is not automatically created when you do a 'make install'. If you want to install sample configuration files for Nagios (and have the etc subdirectory created for you), use the 'make install-config' command.
