Suse 8.0 Hardware-Änderungen nach Installation

Hi Leute,

ich habe durch einen Wechsel auf eine größere HDD meine Partitionen von der alten Festplatte auf die neue Festplatte übertragen.
Nach dem Wechsel kann

1) mein CDBrenner und
2) die 2. IDE Festplatte (alles vorher schon installiert) nicht mehr gemountet werden
3) es sind nicht alle Partitionen der Neuen Platte ansprechbar.

Fehlermeldung: kein gültiges blockorientiertes Gerät.

Wer kann helfen? Was kann ich tun?

Meines Wissens gibt es unter Suse keine Werkzeuge zur automatischen Hardwareerkennung nach bereits erfolgter Installation.

ich würde vermuten, dass es in lilo.conf

append = "hdb=ide-scsi"

heißen müsste, weil der Brenner am Device hdb (und nicht hdd) hängt.

Möglicherweise gibt es auch andere Probleme, aber ich habe einfach nicht
die Zeit, jetzt alle Einstellungen nachzuvollziehen.

ganz herzlichen Dank für die Hilfe. Der Tip mit dem falschen Eintrag in der lilo.conf war ein voller Erfolg.
Ich habe den Eintrag geändert auf

append = "hdb=ide-scsi"

Der Brenner und die 2. IDE Festplatte (alles vorher schon installiert) kann jetzt wieder gemountet werden.

Leider habe ich nicht herausbekommen können, warum nicht alle Partitionen der Neuen Platte (hdc) ansprechbar sind.


Wer hat da vielleicht noch eine Idee ??
