    Plextor PX-W2410A mit Suse8.1

    Tach,
    Ich habe ein problem mit dem brennen mit meinem Plextor PX-W2410A.
    Der brenner wird ohne probleme zwar erkannt und scsi auch emuliert. Etwas komisch ist schon das mein dvd laufwerk und der brenner ziemlich oft in der emulation vorkommen.
    Doch wenn ich jetzt probiere mit cdrado eine cd zu brennen meint dieses programm immer das die cd die eingelegt ist bereits beschrieben sei obwohl dies nicht möglich sein kann weil ich mehere cds ausprobiert habe.
    cdrecord behauptet auch das die cd nicht leer sei doch kann ich mit erzwingen (in k3b) den schreibvorgang starten der dann auch durschgeführt wird!
    Außerdem kann ich seit dem ich den brenner eingebaut habe (dvd hängt als slafe am gleichen kabel) kann ich das dvd nicht mehr normal mit mount /media/dvd mounten. Es kommt immer:
    /dev/dvd: Eingabe-/Ausgabefehler
    mount: Sie müssen den Dateisystemtyp angeben
    Obwohl en der fstab als dateityp auto steht. Desweiteren wird der dvd auch nicht im kde im desktop angezeigt!

    Kann es vielicht daran liegen das das board so neu ist? Gigabyte GA-7VAXP
    Oder woran könnte das liegen?

    Hmm, ich dachte es tritt eine andere Ausgabe auf! Nämlich das dein Brenner mehrfach erkannt wird!

    wird er auch nur nicht bei cdrecord sondern bei den anderen programmen und beim hochfahren auch.

    Hi,

    gegen das mehrfache Erkennen trägst Du "max_scsi_luns=1" in die /etc/lilo.conf appendzeile, bzw in die /boot/grub/menu.lst zu den Optionen ein. "/sbin/lilo -v" mußt Du noch ausführen, wenn Du lilo benutzt.

    Das DVD lässt sich wieder mounten, wenn Du

    ln -sf /dev/sr1 /dev/dvd
    ln -sf /dev/sr1 /dev/cdrom
    ln -sf /dev/sr0 /dev/cdrecorder

    setzt.

    jetzt kann ich das dvd wieder mounten und die devices werden auch nicht mehr doppelt erkannt
    doch brennen kann ich immer noch nicht!
    Der behauptet immer die cd wäre nicht leer... Dabei kann das überhaupt nicht sein denn ich habe mit dem brenner unter windows die gleichen rohlinge beschrieben ohne je irgendwelche probleme damit zu haben!
    Am board sollte es auch nicht mehr liegen denn ich habe den via patch durschgeführt der nötig war um dma zu aktivieren. (GA-7VAXP)

    Also,je nach dem an welchen Strang dein Brenner liegt must du z.b. hda=ide-scsi oder hdb=ide-scsi ect. im Grub mit eintragen.

    Erst wenn die SCSI-Emulation Aktiv ist,kannst du brennen.
    und welches Brenn Programm benutzt du??
    Ich bekomme mit k3b auch nichts hin.

    das mit dem hdg=ide-scsi das hatte suse schon selber gemacht.
    Ich benutzt k3b doch hatte ich das auch schonmal ohne k3b mit cdrado probiert wie es ja k3b auch nur macht!
    Immer gleiche fehlermeldung cd sei nicht leer....

    dann "sollte" es eigentlich gehen. Gibt's Fehlermeldungen wenn Du brennen willst?

    cdrecord [B]-vvV[/ B] ....

    damit cdrecord etwas geschwätziger wird.
    Schau auch mal in die /var/log/messages

    Hmmm, woran hängen die beiden Laufwerke, was ist das für ein Controler?

    Probier mal

    flushb /dev/hdg && cdrecord -vvV ....
