Brennen allgemein/nicht unterstützter brenner

Ich hab nen LiteOn 32x/12x/40x
jetzt ganz egal welchen genau

Ich will mal wissen:

Ich hab bis jetzt nur im windoof gebrannt, hab mir noch ned viele gedanken gemacht
Da ich ja wegen games und so immer zwischen linux und windoof hin und her pendle


Frage:

Kann bei nich unterstützten brennern oder so irgendwas hin werden? putt gehn? zamkrachen?...?

(oder liegt die wut meines wirklich nur vaters daran dass ich linux verwend, und ned windoof.... )

hab deine frage nicht ganz kappiert aber kaputt gehen kann da eigentlich nix! mach mal cdrecord --scanbus aber als root wenn dort dein brenner steht ist gut, sonst musst du mal checken ob ide-scsi.o geladen ist. ( <- lsmod)

Könnt ihr mir auch sagen wie ich bei mkisofs mache, dass die großbuchstaben _nicht_ in kleinbuchstaben umgewandelt werden?

Jetz hab ich statt

das findet der beim booten also ned

also ich geb immer folgendes ein

mkisofs -v -R -J -o image.iso /daten

und hab keine probleme mit der gross-/kleinschreibung. ich glaub das macht die option -J, steht für joilet.

exact der selbe sourcecode

Nur heißt die .exe saghallo.exe

und dann:
blaues dosfenster beim start, nich nur einmal, auch nach neu kompilieren.....

also wenn du die hw nicht durch irgendwelche parameter überbeanspruchst (graka, bildschirm, hd) kann da nichts passieren.
bezüglich der weiteren fragen hilft dir man mkisofs weiter.

Ich hab auch den LiteON 32x12x40, aber ich kann ich absolut nicht auf die ide-scsi emulation einstellen, denn bei dem boot kommt dann immer das :

hast du jetzt mal die jumper an deinen geräten geprüft?
oder hast du deinen brenner immer noch als "master" an hdb hängen?
dann lese mal bitte das.

ps: bist du schon mal auf die idee gekommen zu prüfen, ob dein dvd vielleicht auch als master gejumpert ist?

Also hda = CD-brenner, eigener IDE Port
hdc = CD-rom, eigener IDE Port

Sind beides Master, da das ja egal ist weil sie nicht beide an einem Kabel hängen,

Danke ich habe mir es durchgelesen, doch weiß nicht worauf du damit hinauswolltest.

Ich hab schon ne Mange TUT's durchgelesen, doch leider konnte mir keins Helfen.

Also ich hab noch mal neu Formatiert, und dann Den Brenner als master auf dem slot 1 gestöpselt
und das cdrom also master auf den Slot 2 gestöpselt, hab nähmlich noch 2 seperate Festpalttencontroller.

Habe das MSI K7T266 Pro2U.

Abwer warum verdammt erkennt er meine Brenner nicht mit der ide-scsi emulation ???
Ich hab alles in Fstab geändert, und auch im lilo.conf
kann auch lilo -v machen ohne Fehler doch dann beim Boot kommt immer die obengenannge Error Message und ich habe kein Plan warum.

Bei der lilo konfiguration fragt der eh danach

Musst sowas wie

ide-scsi=/dev/hda tippen


Bei mir funkt der jetzt
cdrecord -v -eject speed=24 fs=8m dev=0,0,0 iso.image

Danke das werde ich dann nachher mal versuchen, denn ich muß unbedingt mal wieder einige sachen brennen, hab nähmlich kein Platz mehr auf der Festplatte.

bei mir steht hier ebenfalls die zeile mit "options" nur die
alias zeile sieht bei mir wie folgt aus:
alias scd0 sr_mod

das habe ich irgendwo mal abgetippt ,-).
also keine gewähr auf funktion, usw.
