    hab eine Delock USB 3.0 PCIe Karte gekauft, die ab Kernel 2.6. funktionieren soll.

    Hab Kernel 3.7. installiert, jetzt funzt der USB 3.0 PCIe Kontroller, aber die eSATA PCIe Karte ebenfalls von Delock geht nicht mehr,
    Die hat mit den 3.5er Kernel noch funktioniert.

    Schon beim Systemstart gibt es Fehlermeldungen

    SATA5 Failure
    SATA6 Failure

    Ist eine 2 Port-Karte von Delock!

    Ich kann doch nicht wenn ich den Kartenleser brauche mit 3.7. starten, wen ich die externe eSATA Platte brauche, mit 3.5.

    Ich geb's auf mit Linux.

    Seit Jahren versuch ich immer wieder ein lauffahiges Linux hinzubekommen.

    Eventuell auch weil du die ganzen Komponenten zusammenwürfelst?

    Was hast du noch an Erweiterungen drin? noch eine PCI Grafikkarte?

    Edit: Wenn ich mir Hardware kaufe, schaue nicht auf die Seite des Herstellers, der die Platine in den Karton einpackt, sondern welcher Controller verbaut ist.
    Realtek z.B. sind da gut, Intel auch...

    Hab keine Linuxtaugliche USB 3.0 Karte ausser den Delocks gefunden!

    Und eine neue Platine mit Prozessor, Speicher kann ich mir nicht leisten!

    Ich hab hier eine Karte von Logilink verbaut [1], die läuft problemlos. Ist vielleicht einen Versuch wert, die Karte bekommt man für knapp einen Zehner. Ansonsten halte ich es wie davidbaumann und schaue nach dem verbauten Chipsatz. Auf Herstellerangaben verlasse ich mich nicht, damit habe ich schon schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht.

    Was den eSATA-Controller angeht: Was heißt "geht nicht"? Was steht dazu in den Logfiles? Wenn ich das richtig sehe ist das ein "SiI 3132"-Chipsatz, der sollte eigentlich von Kernel 3.7 unterstützt werden.

    Leider ist die Produktbeschreibung schon etwas älter und müsste überarbeitet werden.
    Zum damaligen Zeitpunkt waren Linux-Systeme mit einem Kernel 3.x nicht verfügbar.
     
    Im Moment liegen keine Testergebnisse für unsere Karte im Bezug auf eine Kompatibilität mit einem Linux-System vor, welches einen Kernel 3.5 oder einen Kernel 3.7 verwendet.
    Die Kompatibilität wird erst in den kommenden Wochen getestet, bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt können wir eine Kompatibilität unserer Karte mit diesem Betriebssystemen nicht beurteilen.
     
    Wir können auf kurze Sicht keine Lösung anbieten.
    Aber anbieten tun sie es 'ab Kernel 2.6'

    Ich werd es wohl aufgeben müssen mit Linux, ist ein ewiger Kampf.

    Scheint wohl nur VM tauglich zu sein, schade

    Ein paar Neustarts waren aber schon nötig

    Aber leider wird die Speicherkarte nur erkannt wenn sie vor dem Systemstart in den Kartenleser gesteckt wird.

    Ohne gibt es beim Start einen xhci error Fehler!
