ja, mozilla firefox ab 2.0 öffnet bei mir unter dieser URI die Seite web-sniffer.net.
hab auch schon geschaut, ob es eventuell am DNS liegt, der kennt so einen Eintrag allerdings nicht...
Kann dieses Verhalten sonst keiner replizieren?
genau das soll er ja auch.
wenn du blösdsinn in die adresseleiste eingibst, dann macht firefox eine suche bei google nach dem string und öffnet die erste seite...

Danke für die Aufklärung, diese Funktion von Mozilla war mir bisher unbekannt. Und da %3A ja eigentlich als HEX-Code 'nen Doppelpunkt darstellt, würde ich das schon als Fehlverhalten vom Wüstenfuchs werten. Vor allem, da du danach eine komplett gültige URI eingeben kannst und trotzdem bei web-sniffer.net landest.
du kannst ja einen bug melden.
aber ich glaube nicht, dass man im protokoll-bereich auch hex-angaben machen darf.

Das dürfte wohl stimmen - wird schon seine Richtigkeit haben. Was mir aber sauer aufstößt, ist die freizügige Kommunikation mit Google. Muss mal schauen wie ich ihm das wieder abgewöhne.
