    scsi festplatte lässt sich nicht ansprechen

    Hallo
    Ich habe einen scsi host raid controller
    04:02.0 RAID bus controller: Adaptec ASC-29320A U320 w/HostRAID (rev 10)
    der lief voher auf mdadm raid1.
    Ich wollte 2 festplatten hinzufügen und ein raid5 machen.

    der controller hat einmal nur 3 festplatten erkannt ( 4 te vermutlich defekt )
    allerdings läßt sich eine Festplatte nicht partitionieren.

    hat irgend jemand eine idee was der Fehler sein könnte? Hardware oder einfach nur Ich

    Schwer. Lass mal ein "badblocks -v " ueber alle drei Platten laufen. Wenn nur eine kaputt ist (=>badblocks spuckt eine Liste mit Zahlen aus), tausch' die Platten an den Anschluessen im Kreis aus und mach das badblocks-Spiel nochmal.
    Wenn danach eine andere Platte defekt ist, ists der Controller
    Ist zwar krude, sollte aber gehen.
