    Rechner friert ein (Clocksource tsc unstable)

    Morgen Leute,

    ich hab mir vor wenigen Tagen Zenwalk 5.2 installiert. Soweit ist auch alles eingerichtet, aber beim booten friert der Rechner für ca. 10 bis 20 Sekunden ein und es erscheint die Meldung Clocksource tsc unstable. Nun habe ich Nachforschungen betrieben anscheinend ist als Clocksource tsc gewählt, wenn ich nach dem booten aber mit
    Code:
    cat /sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/current_clocksource
    überprüfe wird hpet als Clocksource angezeigt. Ich vermute also, dass tsc aus irgendeinem Grund nicht funktioniert, deshalb auf hpet umgeschaltet wird und daraus dann die Wartezeit resultiert. Darum hab ich versucht in der lilo.conf mit

    Code:
    append = "clocksource=hpet"
    ihn zu zwingen immer hpet als Clocksource zu verwenden, aber ohne Erfolg.

    Ich kopier mal noch die /var/log/dmesg rein. Vielleicht hat ja jemand mal das gleiche Problem gehabt.

    Code:

    So, die Fehlermeldung ist jetzt weg. Meine /etc/lilo.conf sieht jetzt so aus:

    Code:
      ...
      image = /boot/vmlinuz
      append = "notsc"
      root = /dev/sda6
      label = Zenwalk
      initrd = /boot/initrd.splash
      read-only
      ...
    danach noch /sbin/lilo ausgeführt und schon hab ich keine Fehlermeldung mehr. Trotzdem habe ich das Gefühl, dass der Laptop beim booten immer noch an einer Stelle hängt. Ich werd der Sache mal auf den Grund gehen.
