    X-Server startet nach System-Update nicht mehr

    Hallo,

    ich habe ein debian lenny und habe das System mit einem apt-get distupgrade auf den "neuesten" Stand gebracht.Da ein neuer Kernel installiert wurde musste ich auch noch den nvidia-Treiber neuinstallieren. Doch leider startet nun mein X-

    Was steht auf der Konsole wenn du dort "X" eingibst?

    Wieso lädst du "radeon" und "nvidia"? Das könnte sich beissen!

    Versuch mal die Treiber: "ati" und "nv", die sind nicht so Kritisch da kein 3D, oder noch besser: mach mal eine der beiden Grafikkarten raus bis es wieder geht.

    Die conf hast du in VB-Tags gepostet, das Log aber nicht?
    - wenn du es vielleicht nachziehen würdest (Beitrag ändern), dann wär's um einiges leichter zu lesen.

    PS: die beiden Log-Teile können dann eben in einem Post zusammengefasst werden.

    Hab das Problem gefunden. Die Radeon Karte scheint defekt zu sein. Wenn ich eine andere einbaue geht alles einwandfrei. Ich habe auch die Radeon Karte mit dem vesa, dem radeon und dem ati treiber getestet - gingen alle nich - also kann ich ein Teiber Problem ausschließen...
