    opensuse 10.2 wlan Problem

    Guten Abend zuerst einmal.

    Ich habe mir soeben eine Linux Version installiert (die ich mir vor einiger Zeit geholt habe) und wollte per WLAN ins Internet. Da ich ein Noob auf dem Gebiet "Linux" bin, erhoffe ich mir hier Hilfe. Das größte meiner Probleme ist das ich nicht weiß wie ich in die konfiguration des WLAN´s hineinkomme. Ich würde mich freuen wenn mir irgenwer helfen kann.

    P.s. Wenn es das falsche Forum ist tut es mir leid ich hab mich gerade erst angemeldet und deswegen nicht so den Plan wo was ist

    Welcher WLAN Adapter? lspci und lsusb Ausgaben posten!
    Ist der Adapter erkannt worden? iwconfig Ausgabe posten!

    Guten Morgen.

    Erstmal Danke für deine Antwort. Ich habe die Befehle "ispci" und "isusb" ausprobiert und es passierte nichts.

    Als ich Iwconfig eingeben habe kam folgendes:

    lo no wireless extensions.

    eth0 no wireless extensions.

    sit0 no wireless extensions.

    das dürfte doch soviel heißen wie es exestiert keine WLAN karte oder?

    achja ich benutze Open SUSE 10.2

    EDIT: Es ist ein 802.11 n/g/b Wireless LAN USB Adapter von Ralink.

    Das dort nichts passiert ist, kann ich keien Glauben schenken!

    ja gemotzt hat er...aber ich dachte das sei ein i und kein l sry *mist*

    der WLAN adapter hab ich vergessen steht aber oben drin habs ediert.

    Desweiteren was sagt der Befehl dmesg?

    Mal ganz blöde Frage:

    War der Stick überhaupt eingesteckt?

    Unter den USB-IDs, die man da sieht, ist nichts, was auf USB-WLAN Adapter passt (das X10 Wireless Technology, Inc. ist irgendeine Fernbedienung, sofern ich das richtig gefunden habe).

    Machen wir das anders.

    Stick raus.

    das problem ist das dieser WLAN Adpter intern eingebaut ist. Ich hab keine Ahnung wo, da es damals ein Komplettsystem war wo ich ihn mir gekauft habe. Deswegen kann ich da leider nigs ein und ausstecken trozdem danke

    Deshalb findet man dazu fast nix, das ist einer der ganz neuen Generation.

    Es wird im Ordner mit dem entpackten Quellcode des Treibers eine Datei "os/linux/config.mk" geben, die man editieren muss.

    Sorge dafür, daß folgende Einstellungen gesetzt sind.
