eeprom-Problem(?) mit Pinnacle USB Hybrid Pro DVB-T

Hi,

auf meinem Linux 2.6.18.8-0.1-default Rechner mit OpenSuSE 10.2 betreibe ich einen Pinnacle USB Hybrid Pro Stick zum DVB-T Empfang. Ich habe dazu die zahlreichen Anleitungen gelesen, diese hier befolgt und zum größten Teil klappt das auch. Ich habe die neusten Module von M. Rechberger geladen. Soweit alles gut. Jetzt das Problem: Öfters kommt es vor, dass der Stick beim Anstecken einfach nicht erkannt wird. Ich bekomme dann im dmesg die Meldungen:

Zwischen dem Ein- und Ausstecken habe ich nichts geändert was Module oder sonstige Einstellungen angeht. So ganz versteh ich die Fehlermeldung nicht:

Steht eigentlich schon in der Fehlermeldung:
Die Karte kann offensichtlich nicht automatisch erkannt werden und deswegen sollte der Kartentyp explizit angegeben werden.
Deswegen sollte bei Dir das Modul em28xx mit der Option card=25 geladen werden.
Also sollte in der /etc/modprobe.conf diese Zeile stehen:

Allerdings kann es sein das das bei SuSE in einer anderen Datei stehen sollte, ich hab hier
Gentoo am laufen, musst mal gucken wo bei SuSE Moduloptionen am besten stehen sollten.

Erstmal vielen Dank für deine Antwort.

Die Aussage der Fehlermeldung habe ich wörtlich ja auch so verstanden. Deswegen habe ich das auch schon probiert den Kartentyp beim Laden des Moduls mit anzugeben. Das ändert aber nichts an den Fehlermeldungen, die tauchen genauso auf. Was mich ja verwundert ist, dass die automatische Erkennung des Kartentyps oft funktioniert (meist sogar beim ersten Anstecken), manchmal jedoch nicht, egal ob ich den Kartentyp angebe oder nicht. Wenn das nicht funktioniert, dann funktionierts vielleicht beim nächsten Mal, wenn ich sie reinstecke. Sehr komisch.

Gibt's denn weitere Ideen?
