Monitor-Timing nach GTF in X.org einstellen (nvdia-treiber installiert)?

habe folgendes Problem und dazu noch nirgendwo Threads gefunden:

mein monitor (Atec 19G glaube ich, NoName von Norma ;-) ) kann maximal 1280x1024@75Hz. jedoch sind in regelmäßigen abständen bereiche verwaschen.

unter windows ließ sich das in den nvidia-einstellungen (gf FX5200) ganz einfach durch einen klick auf "allgemeine timing formel(GTF)" beheben, die nach installation standardmäßigen nvidia-optimierten timing-einstellungen sind offenbar das problem.

gibt es dazu ein ähnlich einfaches pendant in x.org (benutze ubuntu 5.10 und openSuse10, tut wahrscheinlich nichts weiter zur sache)?

Du kannst eine GTF-ModeLine berechnen (z.B. mit http://www.sh.nu/nvidia/gtf.php) und dann in Deiner X-Konfigurationsdatei eintragen.
