    Festplatte oder Mainbord kaputt?

    Hallo,

    mein System spinnt seit einigen Tagen: Die Festplatten steigen während des Betriebs aus dem DMA-Modus aus, ich hab diverse Kernelversionen versucht (jedes Mal das Selbe), an der Software liegt es also wohl nicht. Jetzt stellt sich mir die Frage ob das Problem von der/den Platte(n) kommt oder vom Mainbord aus geht?!

    Hier mal der Auszug aus der syslog
    Oct 17 12:27:27 aspartat kernel: hdb: status error: status=0x7f { DriveReady DeviceFault SeekComplete DataRequest CorrectedError Index Error }
    Oct 17 12:27:27 aspartat kernel: hdb: status error: error=0x7f { DriveStatusError UncorrectableError SectorIdNotFound TrackZeroNotFound AddrMarkNotFound }, LBAsect=260013951, sector=51123983
    Oct 17 12:27:27 aspartat kernel: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
    Oct 17 12:27:27 aspartat kernel: hdb: drive not ready for command
    Oct 17 12:27:37 aspartat kernel: ide0: reset: success

    und hier die Meldung von dmesg
    hdb: status error: status=0x7f { DriveReady DeviceFault SeekComplete DataRequest CorrectedError Index Error }
    hdb: status error: error=0x7f { DriveStatusError UncorrectableError SectorIdNotFound TrackZeroNotFound AddrMarkNotFound }, LBAsect=260013951, sector=51123983
    ide: failed opcode was: unknown
    hda: DMA disabled
    hdb: DMA disabled
    hdb: drive not ready for command
    ide0: reset: success

    Sieht doch schon irgendwie nach der Festplatte an /dev/hdb aus oder?? Was meint ihr ist die hin oder kann man da noch was machen??

    Kannst du bitte mal die Ausgabe von smartctl hier posten?
    Code:
    smartctl -a /dev/hdb
    Du kannst auch deine Festplatte mit Hilfe von smartctl prüfen lassen:
    Code:
    smartctl -t long /dev/hdb
    Während der Test läuft, kannst du ganz normal mit dem Rechner weiter arbeiten, solltest ihn aber nicht neustarten oder ausschalten.
    Gruß,
    Tomek

    Das Testergebnis kannst du wieder mit smartctl -a /dev/hdb abrufen. Es wird am Schluss angezeigt, wenn der Test durchgelaufen ist.

    Ich würde die Festplatte noch mit dem Tool des Festplattenherstellers prüfen und auch mal das Kabel austauschen.

    Hallo Tomek,

    koenntest du mir die einzelnen Error-messages mal etwas erlautern?
    Koennten die Fehler auf vom ide-controller kommen? Was denkst du? Der Maxtor Test erkennt leider die Festplatte(n) von mir nicht, keine Ahnung warum?!
