Keine Nvidia Treiber nach Softwareinstallation

Hi Leute,
erstmal ich benutze SUSE 9|2 und eine Nvidia GE Force 6600gt
Ich habe gestern einige Pakete nachinstalliert um mit dem 3Satz Pakete installieren zu können ( Xorg-devel, KDElibs-devel.....) Und nach einem Neustart startete plötzlich kein X mehr. Nach dem Start mit den Bootparameter "init 3" konnte ich mit "sax2 -m 0=vesa" wenigstens mit Standardtreibern das System laden.
Neuinstalltion der Nvidia Treiber änderte nichts, auch das auswählen der Grafikkarte unter SAX2 brachte nichts.

läuft wieder ich habe mehrere Datein, welche hiermit zu tun haben umbenannt, danach nur mit "init 3" gebootet dass von denen möglciihst gar nichts geladen oder neu erstellt wird, Nvidia Treiber de und neu installiert, an Sax übergeben und jetzt gehts wieder, DANKE fürs Weg-weisen :-) war sicher nicht das letzte mal dass ich euch brauche ;-)

Vermutlich nicht, die beiden Logdateien wurden von Sax2 mit temporären Konfigurationsdateien erstellt. Möglicherweise läßt sich das Problem durch manuelles Laden des Kernelmodules vor Anpassung der Konfiguration mit Sax2 beheben (ich kenne mich nicht sonderlich gut mit SuSE's "Spezialwerkzeugen" aus). Kein Problem, gut zu hören, daß es doch noch funktioniert hat. ;)

vielleicht ist mein Problem sogar noch seltsamer. Also ich benutze Fedora Core 2 mit einem 2.6.10er Kernel und ner GeForce4 Grafikkarte. Also ich habe das alles installiert, Nvidia-Treiber installiert, xorg.conf entsprechend neu geschrieben und hochgefahren .... lief alles prima, Nvidia Karte lief ohne Fehler! Wunderbar soweit, nun gut, nach 3-4 Tagen im Dauerbetrieb (Multimediaserver) musste ich lirc aktivieren, also ran an den PC ... lirc drauf ... neustarten ... und auf einmal dauert der neustart ewig weil, nach Eingabe des Users & Passwort braucht der Rechner gut und gerne 5 min. um zum KDE-Desktop zu gelangen. Will ich ein Terminal aufmachen braucht er dazu 2 Minuten, das gleiche gilt für mythTV starten ... dauert auch2-3 Minuten. Komischerweise läuft dann mythTV mit der normalen Geschwindigkeit, nix im Programm ist irgendwie langsamer, nur eben das starten der Programme dauert ewig und das hochfahren auch ... naja, war mir erstmal egal, da die Karte ohne Fehler lief und das Ding eh nie runter gefahren wird. Aber schon seltsam ....
So, wieder 5 tage später habe ich den Rechner genommen, ausgeschaltet, woanders hingestellt, angeschaltet - Linux läuft, KDE läuft... so, nun habe ich ne WLAN-Karte eingebaut und installiert - keine Fehler. Also Computer ausschalten, wegtragen und einschalten ... und jetzt kommt es, der Rechner fährt hoch, dann erscheint die Kommandozeile mit dem Login (die Konsole eben die immer kurz erscheint bevor der X-Server hochfährt), das Bild geht weg, die Konsole kommt wieder, das Bild geht wieder weg, die Konsole kommt wieder, etc .... das ganze geht ewig so (nach 15. minuten wurde es mir zu doof) ... erst neustart hilft, den während der PC ständig versucht X hochzufahren ist es mir nicht(!) möglich auf eine der anderen Konsolen zu wechseln.
Hmmm, okay, also anderer Kernel gebootet und in der xorg.conf das "nvidia" durch "nv" ersetzt - und schon klappt wieder alles.
Okay dachte ich mir, mal Nvidia Treiber deinstallieren und dann neuinstallieren, gesagt getan, dann noch schnell "nvidia" wieder in xorg.conf eintragen ... neustart ... wieder die gleiche *******e!!! Versucht ohne Pause den X-Server zu starten und bekommt es nicht hin. Immer mit dem gleichen Fehler wie mein Kollege oben. Und jetzt bitte nicht nach meiner xorg fragen, an der kann es kaum liegen den die hat sich nicht geändert und vorher ging es ja auch.
Hmmm, okay, soweit meine Geschichte ... und jetzt die Frage, hat irgendwer ne Idee was da los sein kann????? Warum ging es erst und jetzt nicht mehr? Kann es daran liegen das zuviele Karten verbaut sind? Und kann ich mit dem "nv"-Treibern auch den TV-Out meiner Grafikkarte nutzen? ist der "nv"-Treiber eigentlich langsamer als der "nvidia"-Treiber oder wäre es für mythTV egal welchen ich benutze?

Startet bei dir der Rechner mit den nv Treibern? Bei mir gings nicht. Lediglich die Vesa Treiber brachten mich zu einem Grafischen sys.

Weiss nicht ob ich das deutlich brachte, meine Treiber-re-installtion war erst erfolgreich nachdem ich schon in der Boot prompt init 3 eigegeben hatte! Nach einem (auch vergeblichen) start von X hatte auch ich keinen Erfolg!
