    Hallo, seit der neuinstalation von suse 9.1 bricht die internet verbindung immer nach einiger Zeit ab!
    Kinternet gibt folgendes Protokol aus:

    Was kann das sein?
    Möglich, dass du bei der Konfiguration einen zeitgesteuerten Logout festgelegt hast.

    Sieht nach einer DSL-Störung (event. Hardware: TAE-Dose, Kabel, Modem) aus. Hast du schon mal das Modem gewechselt, bei der T-Com (?) angerufen und bei heise.de/imonitor vorbeigeschaut?

    DSL-Einstellungen

    Hallo,

    ich noch eine Frage: Du gehst direkt vom Rechner auf das DSL-Modem (ohne Router) ?

    Wie sieht das aus: zunächst wird Deine DLS-Leitung langsam und dann fliegst Du ganz raus. Nach dem Neustart der Verbindung ist die erste Zeit wieder alles o.k. und fängt dann wieder von vorne an.

    In der Log-Datei steht eine MTU von 1500. Wird dieser Wert von T-Online auch unterstütz? Bei AOL z.B. wird 1400 empfohlen. Nach der Umstellung des Routers war alles o.k. Wenn die MTU nicht stimmt, wird die Leitung zuerst langsam bis sie sich vollständig aufhängt.

    Du kannst ja mal Knemo als RPM-Paket installieren (www.rpmseek.com) und dir die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten ansehen.

    Also ich sitzen nicht hinter einem Router, meine Verbindung geht direkt übers DSL Modem!
    Ich benutze nicht T-Online sondern Freenet!
    Wo kann ich nachsehn welche mtu Freenet unterstützt?
    Hab Knemo instaliert, aber wenn ich inter Konsole Knemo eingebe,wird angezeigt das das Prog nicht zu finden sei!?

    Mtu

    Hallo,

    unter http://www.freenet.de/hilfe/internet...eis/index.html steht die MTU von Freenet (1454).

    Knemo wird als Dienst von KDE gestartet und nicht über die Konsole. Kontrollzentrum > KDE-Komponenten > Diensteverwaltung > KDE-Dienste beim Start. Dort bei Knemo ein Kreuzchen machen und dem Konfiguations-Menüe beim Neustart folgen. Mit gleichzeitigem Klick auf beide Maustasten erscheint die Grafikausgabe.

    Hi,

    den MTU-Wert veränderst du, indem du in /etc/ppp/pppoe.conf den Wert für CLAMPMSS änderst:
    Code:
    CLAMPMSS=1454
    Falls die Datei bei dir nicht existiert, schau mal in /etc/ppp/peers/provider nach,
    was da hinter dem Parameter -m steht. Das ist der MSS Wert.
