Ich kann die file einfach nicht loeschen

Hi, i am newbie here I have got a small problem ...
I have once used ksnapshot to make some sceenshots of a programm, it has saved the files and everything were OK, and now after some months I have mentioned that there are some invisble files, for example: snapshot5.png, snapshot6.png, etc still remained staying in the directory, and I want to delet them, but I can not get it done, details follows:

rm snapshot*

rm: cannot lstat `snapshot6.png': Permission denied
rm: cannot lstat `snapshot7.png': Permission denied
rm: cannot lstat `snapshot8.png': Permission denied
rm: cannot lstat `snapshot9.png': Permission denied

and I can not see the files when I use the command ll or ls as root
but I can see them as the normal user ithe thr command ls (ll does not show them)

I was wondering what the hell ist going on the the files?
are they corrupted? with which programm can I correct them?

Are you in ther same directory? This can be checked by "pwd". As root, you'll be able to delete them - in any case.

The filesystem is corrupted, maybe. You can remount (read only) the partition (with a Live-System, e.g. Knoppix) and try to delete the files or check the partition with fsck.

Ich meine eher, er hat beim Schreiben des Beitrags auf einmal gedacht, das hier wäre ein englisches Forum (vllt. ist er nebenbei ja auch noch bei einem englischen Forum angemeldet und ist deswegen durcheinander gekommen). Wie ein nativer Englisch-Sprecher wirkt er mir nicht gerade.
