Samba3 installieren

Hi, wollte mir mal das neuste Samba auf den Rechner hauen... hab erstmal das alte gelöscht und dann wollte ich das neue installieren. doch dabei kam folgende Fehlermeldung und ich weiß net wiese:

 rpm -i samba3-client-3.0.7-1.i586.rpm

im "Yast2 Software installieren oder löschen" kann man nach dem Paket suchen, dass /usr/bin/strings zur Verfügung stellt (suchen in .. provides). Dieses Gefundene dann evtl. installieren

oder auch:

# rpm -qf /usr/bin/strings

->
binutils heißt das Paket. Wird eigentlich per Default installiert

Hi,

erst mal das alte Samba deinstallieren, dann das neue installieren (Sicherung der Konfig nicht vergessen). Oder "rpm --force ..." - aber auf eigene Gefahr ...
