Keine Soundausgabe unter Mandrake 10.0

Hallo

mein Problem ist folgendes,die Soundkarte Aureon Fun 5.1 (Chip: CM8738 ) spuckt keinen Sound aus.Ich habe schon gelesen das bei einer neu installation alle Regler auf stumm gestellst sind (mute).Dummerweise kann ich nicht 'alsamixer' ' öffnen,da bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung:

alsamixer

alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device

Ab und an (wenn ich Musikdateien öffne und abspiele) bekomme ich noch eine weiter Fehlermeldung:

Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output devicev

Wenn ich versuche die neue ALSA Version (1.0.6) zu installieren per Konsole stoße ich auf weitere Fehlermeldungen (und ich bin mir auch nicht sicher ob ich das richtig mache als Linux Newbee)

Kann mir jemand bei diesem Problem Helfen?

ist /dev/dsp vorhanden?
wird die karte im mandrake-control-center richtig erkannt?
ging der sound schonmal?
probier mal mit anderen mixern (kmix zB) den sound hochzudrehen

zu1.) Wenn du mir sagst was das ist bzw. wo ich das nachschaun kann. EDIT: Scheint so als würde /dev/dsp nicht existieren bzw. wenn ich in der Konsole cd /dev/dsp eingebe sagt er das so ein Verzeichnis nicht existiert.

zu 2.) Wird richtig erkannt und Treiber ist auch ausgewählt.

zu 3.) Ja aber unter Mandrake 9.1 und auch nur als Stereo (kein 5.1 Sound)

zu 4.) Kann sie zwar hochschrauben aber auf 'Stumm' bleiben sie trotzdem gestellt (geht auch nicht zu ändern)

probiers mal mit ls /dev/dsp ...
schonmal probiert ob sound als root funktioniert?
was hast du gemacht, bevor der sound nichtmehr ging?

Hallo

Der 'is' befehl funktioniert irgendwie nicht.

Weder als root noch als normale User funktioniert der Sound.

Naja ich hab von Mandrake 9.1 auf 10.0 updatet mehr nicht,danach ging gar kein Sound mehr.

P.S.: Wenn ich kmix in die Konsole als root eingebe kommt folgender Fehler:

kmix: ERROR: Der Alsa-Mixer kann nicht gefunden werden.
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass die Soundkarte installiert ist
und der Treiber geladen ist.

Öhm,hab ich mir auch grad gedacht da kommt:

ls: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

das heißt das deine karte endweder nicht richtig erkannt ist, oder der link sitzt nicht richtig (bei manchen distries ist ein link von /dev/snd/dsp0 auf /dev/dsp nötig)

EDIT: achja, schau mal in der /var/log/messages, ob da etwas zu deiner soundkarte steht (am besten mit grep) und poste den auszug mal hier

Wenn du mir jetzt noch sagst wie ich grep (was ist das überhaupt?) öffne oder an die messages datei rankomme bin ich glücklich

führe mal in einer konsole mit rootrechten "cat /var/log/messages | grep cmipci" ein und poste hier die ausgabe ...
