[Frage] Festplatte retten?

Hi zusammen

Ich habe eben mal wieder die Erfahrung gemacht das Hardware nicht ewig hält.
Und zwar folgendes:

In meinem System nutze ich verschiedene Partitionen fürs Filesharing (nur legales
versteht sich). o_0 Nu is mir aufgefallen das alle rar Archive die ich runter lade defekt
sind. Darauf hin habe ich mit smartctl die Platte gecheckt und ne menge Errormeldungen
bekommen.

Diagnosesoftware von Samsung herunter laden und Platte testen, wenn die Platte noch Garantie hat, die Fehlermeldung aufschreiben und einschicken.

Samsung Diagnostic (SHDiag)

Freeware
This program is used to diagnose the disk when the SAMSUNG hard disk (supported models) is suspected to have failures. It is strongly recommended to back up your data before using this program!

Samsung Drive Diagnostic Utility (Hutil)

Freeware
Hutil (The Drive Diagnostic Utility) is made with the aim of testing a Samsung hard disk drive while it is installed inside a PC, regardless of the status of user's operating system. Hutil can test a drive solely manufactured by Samsung (supported models). It is strongly recommended to back up the user's significant data in advance because Hutil has a Write operation that can erase it.

Danke für die schnelle Antwort.

Aber das die Platte Fehler hat weis ich ja :] Und Garantie ist auch keine mehr vorhanden. Mir
geht es eher um eine Rettung der Platte. Im mom läuft sie ja noch aber erzeugt eben Fehler.

Dann sieh zu, dass Du die Daten sicherst, die Dir wichtig sind.

IMHO wird man da nicht viel retten können.

Hast Du mal smartctl mit der Option "-t long" und "--log=selftest" aufgerufen? Da führt er dann einen Selbsttest auf der Platte durch...

Vielleicht mal empfehlenswert. Bei meiner Platte kamen auch Fehler, die aber anscheinend vom Zugriff auf die gemountete Platte kamen.

welches filesystem verwendest du auf der hd?
fsck (glaube das kann man immer verwenden) oder e2fsck bei ext2 festplatten oder reiserfsck bei reiser formatierten hds.
die werden dir dann auch ne menge sachen ausspucken.
das prog sagt dir dann, welcher befehl deine festplatte wieder hinbiegt. allerdings würde ich vorher deine daten sichern, komplett!
ich benutzte dazu immer dd (convert and copy)
dd if=/dev/hda1 of=/der/ordner/wo/es/hinsoll bs=1M
oder aber wenn das vielleicht zuviel werden sollte
dd if=/dev/hda1 bs=1M | gzip -c > /wo/es/hinsoll.img.gz

ich hab auch eine menge RAR datein (oh wunder

) und konnte die ned entpacken, jetzt bin ich draufgekommen dass die unrar version ned mit RAR 3.0 datein zurechtkommt.
unabhängig von deinen plattenproblemen, könnte das nicht bei dir auch der fall sein?
ich habs mittels WINE und WinRAR gelöst!

Du hast Debian oder? Ersetze die unrar und rar Dateien mit denen von www.winrar.de, dann gehts.

Ich würde jetzt auch mal behaupten, dass Du ein Softwareproblem hast!

Laut der Ausgabe von smartctl sieht Deine Festplatte nämlich sehr gesund aus.
Versuche doch mal, wie schon geschrieben, eine aktuelle Version von unrar:
