    Ati bin nah dran

    Hallo
    nach endlosem lesen und Fehlversuchen hat es heute endlich geklappt mit der Installation des ATI Treibers für die Radeon 9800 Pro, keine Fehlermeldung, die graf.Oberfläche startet und modbrobe von agpgart (ja ich hab nforce2) und fglrx sind erfolgreich. Bei modinfo fglrx zeigt er jetzt auch nicht mehr Mesa indirekt sondern korrekt Ati an. Ein Problem ist noch da, es zeigt sich eine Fehlermeldung wenn ich mit init 3 den Xserver beende. Da dabei stand die Xfree86.0 log zu lesen habe ich das auch getan, da blicke ich leider nicht durch, aufgefallen ist mir nur eine hervorgehobene Fehlermeldung die was mit DRI zu tun hat. da ich das noch nicht so durchschaue, füge ich diese Xfree86.0 Log mal ein, vielleicht hat jemand den Durchblick

    Hast du AGP und DRI komplett aus deinem Kernel verband?
    Hast du das tool von ATI zur XF86Config-4 Erstellung benutzt?
    Vergiss nicht vorsichtshalber deine alte zu sichern.

    nein am kernel habe ich bei Mandrake 10.0 C noch nicht rumgedoktort, na dann werde ich das mal versuchen, danke dir
    P.S ich hätte eher schreiben sollen, bin noch Lichtjahre davon entfernt..

    Da er den 2.6.0 benutzt würde ich eher sagen AGP als Module rein, aber wichtig das hier an die Board-AGP-Module gedacht wird.
    Und dann useinternalagp in der xf86config auf no setzen.
