Soundblaster Live 5.1 + kein /dev/dsp

Ich hab ein Problem mit ALSA udn meiner emu10k1-Karte:
Ich hab heute meine neue Soundkarte bekommen, eingebaut, alsadriver neu kompiliert, configs angepasst etc.. als ich alsa gestartet hab kommt kein fehler oder so.. mein problem: es gibt kein /dev/dsp.. es gibt nur /dev/snd, da sind die dateien:
controlC0 midiC0D0 pcmC0D0p pcmC0D2c timer
hwC0D0 pcmC0D0c pcmC0D1c pcmC0D3p
aber ich kann mit keinen von den devicefiles was abspielen.. weiss wer worans liegt..?
alsaconfig ist hier:

Hm ok, ich habs irgendwie hinbekommen, /dev/dsp ist da.. trozdem kommt kein sound aus xmms..

Schau mal, ob nicht durch einem dummen Zufall die Lautstärke auf 0 steht. Das Problem gibt es öfter ...

Ne, die lautstärke is schon auf 100 und unmuted.. die Module sind auch alle geladen.. Ich boot gleich mal Windows und guck ob die da geht..

edit: unter windoze geht sie..

hast du in xmms das richtige Ausgabeplugin gewählt?
Hast du genügend Rechte auf /dev/dsp bzw. /dev/dsp0?

Narf, ich bin SOOOO dumm.. Hat sich.. Meine Mp3-HD war nicht gemountet X_X
Was lernen wir daraus? Naechstes mal nicht nur mit XMMS testen >_<
