User kennt startx nicht mehr

Hallo,

nach dem ich mein Drucker installiert hatte und den PC neugestartet hab funzte mein Xserver nimmer... nach dem ich dann
dpkg-reconfigured xserver-xfree86 gemacht hatte konnte ich wenigstens wieder unter root
den xserver starten... wenn ich mich aber mit dem normalen user einlogge und startx machn will
sagt der mir nur das er den befehlt nicht kennt...

was hab ich denn nun wieder kaputt gemacht?!

mir ist noch etwas aufgefallen...

wenn ich xdm eingebe startet er ja das grafische login...

wenn ich mich da mit meinen user ( sven ) einloggen will dann wird bild kurz schzwar und ich bin wieder da
wo ich vorher war... wenn ich mich mit root einlogge funzt es...

und in der xconsole steht dann folgendes

die ersten beiden zeilen stehen nach dem schwarzen bildschirm da... der rest dann wenn ich mich mit dem root eingelogt habe...

achja und bei starten sagt er immer zu xdm und gdm das keins von beiden als default eingetragen sei
