Ok, ich hab jetzt den chip server in die configuration integriert per xf86cfg -textmode

bei startx kommt folgendes:

Ich hoffe es stört nicht wenn die maus erst mal nicht funzt (ich will erst mal nen bild haben). Mein System: Debian Woddy, Kernel 2.2.20-idepci.

Ich hoffe es stört nicht wenn die maus erst mal nicht funzt Doch, es stört. Ohne die Maus bricht der Xserver den Start ab.
Oder hast Du etwa ein BIld, in Deinem POsting finde ich keine Frage.

1. meine ich Chip und nicht Ship :|

2. is ja interresant also das die maus nicht geladen werden kann wusste ich aber das das daran liegt das der xserver nicht startet ist krass, dann versuch ich jetzt erst mal die maus zu installieren :).

3. ja die Frage war was ich da falsch gemacht habe bzw ob jemand den Fehler deuten kann:

Aha... Also im Prinzip muss uch die maus nur noch installieren, was ich auch in diesem xf menü machen kann. Ich hab gesehen das es /dev/input/mouse0,1,2,3 usw und mice gibt. Welche davon ist nun die richtige? Ich hab mal mouse0 und mice ausprobiert aber jedes mal wird die maus nicht geladen.
