Archiv verlassen und diese Seite im Standarddesign anzeigen : nVidia Treiber - wo Einstellungen vornehmen?
Ich habe mir für mein Notebook gerade den aktuellen nVidia Treiber downgeloaded und würde nun gerne wissen wo ich Einstellungen vornehmen kann (TV-Out aktivieren, 3D-Einstellungen, ect....). Ausserdem scheint OpenGL bei mir nicht zu laufen, zumindest geht kein einziger OpenGL Bildschirmschoner... an was könnte das liegen?
Ich benutze RH9, GraKa: Geforce Mobile 420go

Normalerweise wird so etwas in der /etc/X11/XF86Config eingestellt.
Laut dieser Config siehts nicht danach aus, als wenn mein Nvidia Treiber geladen werden würde:

Treiber nv --> nvidia
und schmeiß die Module "dri" und "glx" raus.

Ja, aber der "nv" Treiber war bei mir auch schon bei der Standartinstallation vorhanden.
(generic) bedeutet doch soviel wie "allgemein" oder täusch ich mich da jetzt? :confused:

einfach anstatt nv nvidia hinschreiben und kommentier die Zeile, wo das DRI-Modul geladen wird aus. --> X-Server restarten und gut is :)

da häng ich einfach mal ein paar fragen hinterher:
- gibt es eine art control-panel, sprich ein grafisches interface, um das ganze einzustellen? ich find's nervig immer nachschauen zu müüsen (ok kommt ja nicht so oft vor :D ), rein interesses halber.
- kann man es einstellen, dass der tv-out bei einer bestimmten tastenkombination aktiviert wird? hab nämlcih so nen besch******* chip, wo ich nur 1 gerät gleichzeitg ansteuern kann, also permanent in die configdatei eintragen is nicht :(
