How does it come that my new TEAC532S cdrom doesn't rip audio data tracks at least at the same speed as my TEAC55S cdwriter???
In fact, it runs only at .5x - 1x.
Mounting it as /cdrom with data cds, it operates at 32x very well.
The cdwriter is about 5 times faster and rips the audiodata very well (cdparanoia). The 532S doesn't even increase its spinning speed when used for audio ripping!
So, anyone how knows help, please mail me!!
