transcode ist ein Linux Text-Konsolen Utility für die Videostream Bearbeitung und läuft auf einer Plattform die shared libraries und threads unsterstützt.
Die Decodierung und die Kodierung wird durch das Laden von Modulen erledigt, die dafür verantwortlich sind das der transcoder mit raw video/audio streams (Importmodule) und frameencoding (Exportmodule) gefüttert wird.
