Alsa Installation nach Hunters Anleitung ...

Hi!

Hab mir die nun erschienenen alsa 0.9.4 gezogen und nach der Anleitung von Hunter hier installiert. Alles ohne Fehler.

Jedoch nach einem Neustart wird mir beim Hochfahren immer wieder angezeigt:

Starting alsa 0.9.0 rc2 (finde grad das richtige Logfile nicht, daher nur Sinngemäß)

Was lief denn nun falsch ?


ps am rande: warum gibts für alsa einentlich nie updatepackerl für mdk ? (weder offiziell noch tex oder plf)

Ich vermute mal, dass das Startscript nicht aktualisiert wurde.

Wenn du ALSA 0.9.4 installiert hast, wird wohl auch die richtige Version geladen werden...

Schaut komisch aus - abgesehen von den cant locates - wird alsa hier 2x gestatet ???

Hye,

wie mein Vorredner schon meinte, das ist ein Startscript Problem. Schau mal nach was Du für Scripte in /etc/init.d/ rumzuliegen hast. Vielleicht ist dort noch das alte und das neue aktiv?! Einfach mal die alsa-scripte in /etc/init.d händisch ausführen.

Also das sieht nicht nur nach einem alten, sondern auch nach einem defekten Startscript aus ;)

Schau mal, ob du für deine Distribution ein neues ALSA-Startscript herbekommst.
Zusätzlich solltest du auch mal deine Soundkonfiguration anschauen.
Die findest du normalerweise in der Datei /etc/modules.conf.

Schau mal nach, ob da alles richtig für deine Soundkarte eingestellt ist - Beispiele dafür findest du auf den Seiten von ALSA (http://www.alsa-project.org).

PS: Was hast du eigentlich für eine Soundkarte?

ok danke mal für die Hinweise:

1.
alsactl --version
alsactl version 0.9.4

scheint nicht so schlecht zu sein :)

2. - init.d:

ls -l alsa*
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 6927 Apr 30 19:30 alsa*
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 5239 Jul 4 13:43 alsasound*

also tatsächlich 2 (von heute das neue).
Nachdem ich das alte (alsa) deaktiviert habe, kommt beim Bootvorgang nur mehr folgendes:

In messages scheinen auch keine Fehler mehr auf - sieht also auf alle Fälle besser aus als vorher.
In lsmod steht nun auch bei weitem nicht mehr so viel von snd Einträgen drin.

Die modules.conf hab ich laut ALSA Page schon vorher angepaßt. Das sind die snd Einträge:

evtl zuviel :D also wenn wer ne kürzere modules.conf hat oder weiß welche Einträge ich weglassen kann wäre ich dankbar.

Sound geht ja nach wie vor bei mir, es geht mir nur darum den ganzen Kauderwelsch zu bereinigen.
