Moin,
die unendliche Geschichte ...
Ich würde gerne meinen Drucker, der an einem Linuxserver hängt für alle verfügbar machen und das mit IPP. Also hab ich cups installiert.
Nun habe ich mal mit einem Linuxclient versucht den Drucker zu benutzen. Das funzt wunderbar. Wenn ich nun xp boote und meinen drucker mit http://192.168.0.254:631/printers/hp916c zu finden. Das funzt auch wunderbar. Wenn ich nun aber was drucken will, steht beim Status immer FEHLER.

Hat vielleicht von euch einer eine Idee ??

wieso nimmst nich samba? da kannst du gleich noch windoof-unix filesharing mit machen :)

samba läuft sowieso schon, aber ich wollte es mal über IPP zum laufen bringen.

Da es auf dem Linux Client schon läuft, vermute ich das es ein Rechteproblem ist.

Ich bekomme das nicht mal mehr unter Samba zum laufen, hier mal meine smb.conf

thx, aber es hat mich auch nicht weitergebracht. Die Aufträge landen weder in der win-xp- noch in der Cups warteschleife.

Bei IPP war der Auftrag ja wenigstens schon mal in der XP warteschleife nur leide tritt da immer n Fehler auf.

du brauchst natürlich auf windoof seite noch nen druckertreiber für den drucker...

bei uns klappt das mit samba/cups janz jud :)

hmm hätte ja sein können...
mit was hast du samba configuriert? mit swat? wenn nich, dann teste das mal...
ansonsten weiß ich auch net weiter :(

so, ich habe das noch mal mit win 2k probiert. Wenn ich dort versuche den Drucker einzurichten bekomme ich immer die message: Druckerverbindung konnte nicht hergestellt werden. Zugriff verweigert.
