hab ma redhat 9.0 installiert

dann auf die jungfräuliche installation wollt ich gleihc winex draufmachen, also kleich mal auf holarse und einen schritt nach dem anderen vom howto gmacht

mit cvs gesaugt
mit cofigure eingestellt
mit make gmacht
mit make install installiert

dann das .wine verzeichnis angelegt und die config reingespielt
dann das fake windows verzeichnis gmacht und den windows tree drin erstellt

und zu guter letzt die ld.so.conf den pfad berichtigt
und dann ldconfig ausgeführt

müsst doch laut howto alles sein ..... mal brav wine reingetippselt und was is
"wine: chdir to /root/.wine/wineserver-Kat0duS : No such file or directory"

irgendwie is mein .wine verzeichnis total leer bis auf das von mir per hand reinkopierte config

:( :( :( ich kann nimma sitz jetzt shcon seit gestern nachmittag .....kann ma wer sagen was ich vergessen hab ?????

Das ist ein Standart-Felher, der unter RH9 auftritt. Es gibt allerdings einen Workaround. Such mal nach winex und redhat, irgendwo war eine Lösung (sowas wie export assumekernel=2.2.5, glaube ich)

mit wineinstall gehts nämlich auch ned :( da kommt dann irgendwann der fehler hier

"Preparing to install default Wine registry entries...

wine: chdir to /root/.wine/wineserver-Kat0duS : No such file or directory

is nie was in dem .wine drin .... ich geh mal suchen nach dem workaround

Jetzt weiss ich wenigstens worans bei mir liegt, ich bekomm naemlich genau den selben Fehler und hab auch nur die config in meinem Verzeichniss. Ich dacht schon ich waer total durchgedreht ;)

Kannst du wenn du was gefunden hast mal hier posten? Wuerde mich naemlich auch interessieren. Ich begeb mich dann auch mal auf die Suche

hab jetzt mal ne lösung für das problem mit dem wineserver

export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5

dann is der plötzlich im .wine verz ????? da is linux schon komisch wie kommt der da plötzlich hin ;)

aber wenn ich jetzt wine starte fehler weil er kein C: hat
okay config geändert :) juhu

naja jetzt kommt diese meldung:
"wine: lstat /root/.wine/wineserver-Kat0duS/socket : No such file or directory"

was is jetzt wieder falsch ?

einfach vor jedem ausführen von Winex das Verzeichniss "wineserver-hostname" löschen! Wurde aber hier auch schon öfters erwähnt!

einfach mal suchen, irgendwo stand glaube auch wie man das winex start-script bearbeiten muss damit das verzeichniss automatisch gelöscht wird....

bitte ich weiß ich bin lästig aber jetzt hats wieder was :( .... er startet z.b. die install von CS ganz normal aber wenn er zum kopieren von datein beginnen würd bekomm ich diese meldung
