mdk 9.1 / oss - subwoofer geht net

also, die suchfunktion habe ich bereits benutzt, aber nix brauchbares gefunden... mein problem: hab jetzt mal bei meinem papa mandrake 9.1 installiert. im rechner befindet sich eine sb live 5.1 platinum, dadran hängt auch ein 5.1-soundsystem. mit dem oss-treiber (emu10k1) kann ich auch alle 5 satelliten betreiben, nur der subwoofer gibt keinen ton von sich.
habe mir die emu-tools auch runtergeladen und installiert, vielleicht gibt's da ja in der config nochwas, was ich übersehen haben könnte ?!?

Ich hoffe wirklich, dass irgendjemand 'ne Idee hat, woran das liegen könnte und wie ich den Subwoofer zum Laufen kriege...

hmm... ich kann mir einfach nicht vorstellen, dass dieses problem noch nie gelöst wurde!
beiträge in der suchfunktion mit diesem thema können mir nämlich auch keinen lösungsweg vorschlagen!

ich keine ahnung, ob das bei oss auch so ist (habe weder oss, noch 5.1-sound...), aber da gab es die letzten tage schonmal sowas unter alsa, wo man nur im mixer den subwoofer anschalten/aufdrehen musste.

guck dir doch nochmal ganz genau deinen mixer an !

hmm... bei den mixern habe ich schon alles mögliche ausprobiert, ohne erfolg.
stimmt das eigentlich, dass man den emu10k1-treiber auch ohne OSS oder ALSA betreiben kann, einfach durch "modprobe emu10k1" ?
