Vielleicht hab ich da irgendwo n Fehler drin.
Ich will nur als Guest auf den Ordner /homes/dan zugreifen, aber wenn ich in der Netzwerkumgebung auf den Homes Ordner klicke, sagt er immer:

Auf \\UnixserverDAN\homes kann nicht zugegriffen werden
Der Netzwerkname wurde nicht gefunden.

HELP PLEASE!!!

wie sind denn die lokalen Rechte für das Verzeichnis /homes/dan gesetzt ???

Ist der Guest User vorhanden ? Sonst, würde ich auch sagen, guck mal mir ls- l nach ob die rechte Stimmen

Du musst für Samba auch noch nen extra User anlegen. Stichwort smbpasswd. Es reicht nicht nur nen User Guest einzurichten (oder?!)
