Gnome2 läuft... Gnome themes nicht. wie weiter??

moin,

hab mir per red carpet gnome2 runtergeladen (snapshot) und nun ja das funktioniert auch alles blendend. bis auf eins. das paket gnome-themes wurde nicht mit heruntergeladen gibts auch net beim red carpet, ich kann also das Aussehen momentan nicht veraendern.

nun hab ich mir das passende tar.gz untergeladen von gnome.org...

also gnome-themes-2.2.x.tar.gz. bla.

entpacke es. mach mich zum root. oder nicht, egal...

gebe also ./configure ein...

gtk-engines-2 soll aber laut apt-get etc. bereits installiert sein....

nun ja, ich bitte um hilfe ;)
