Hallo zusammen,

habe unter Debian Wine installiert und wollte ein paar ältere Win-Games (Duke3D, etc) zum laufen bekommen.
Also wine konfiguriert und dann Duke3D in ~/.wine/fake_windows/Spiele/Duke3D installiert.

Dann wollte ich aufrufen:

$ wine ./.wine/fake_windows/Spiele/Duke3D/setup.exe

Er hat auch angefangen wine zu laden, aber dann bricht er ab mit der Meldung

"Loading of native DLL C:/Windows/System/wineoss.drv failed"

Was kann ich da machen? Die wineoss.drv exisitiert nicht in meinem System-Dir... Kann ich vielleicht wine mit einem nosound-Parameter aufrufen oder woher bekomme ich diese wineoss.drv.
Habe in der man nichts gefunden.
Meine Soundkarte ist eine ESS Solo1.

hallo!

leider kann ich dir nur erzählen, dass ich die binären pakete von wineX habe und ebenfalls keine solche datei besitze, wohl aber eine bibliothek namens "/usr/lib/transgaming/winex/lib/libwineoss.drv.so". hast du diese bibliothek auf deinem system? wenn nicht, dann ist sie bestimmt teil des binären paketes, ich vermute einfach mal, dass du das cvs-wineX benutzt, oder?

Poste bitte mal deine config, schätze mal dass die dll Settings dort geändert worden sind, sodass er nach den richtigen Win98 dlls in deiner Fake-Win-Dir sucht.

Stimmt, eine wineoss.drv.so gibt es im Verzeichnis
