Wine(X) geht endlich und

neues Problem
wie das bei mir nunmal leider ist;)

Erstell mal in deinem C-Laufwerk den Ordner "Start Menu" und darin "Programs". Dann musst du noch folgenden eintrag in die user.reg machen:

[Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Expl orer\\Shell Folders]
"Programs"="C:\\WINDOWS\\Start Menu\\Programs"

Dann müsste es rennen.

Ja und, was hat das denn damit zu tun? Damit zeigst du winex nur den Pfad für das Programmmenü!
Mit C-Laufwerk mein ich dein Fake Windows C:\\ :D

sry dich enttäuschen zu müssen aber das ist alles längst gemacht :D

also um es zu verdeutlichen: winex ist kompiliert, installiert sowie konfiguriert ;)

Aber da nun dieser Fehler kommt *könnte* man es doch in betracht ziehen, dass winex schlecht konfiguriert ist, oder nicht? Naja wenn es jetzt funzt ist es ja auch egal.

damit könntest du natürlich durchaus recht haben ;)

Edit: ich meinte natürlich mit dem "es bereits konfigureirt, kompiliert usw haben" natürlich das ich es nach der anleitung auf holsare.net installiert habe das problem besteht natürlich immer noch! ;)

Edit2: das passiert auf deine lösung: Line 4: Unrecognized input 'Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Exp lorer\\Shell Folders'
Line 5: Value without key '"Programs"="C:\\WINDOWS\\Start Menu\\Programs'

Edit3: Problem gelöst.
Doch nun:
[root@GUTPC5 cdrom]# wine install.exe

[root@GUTPC5 cdrom]#
und es geht nicht mehr weiter...

ERROR:
Windows 95 wird von WARCRAFT 3 nicht unterstützt.
Die Installation wird beendet

Ok jung das musst du so machen

Cd /mnt/cdrom/
wine installation.exe --winver win98

Hast du das "[Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Exp
lorer\\Shell Folders]" in eine Zeile gerückt, das wurde bei mir irgendwie zerschossen! Die zweite Fehlermeldung resultiert nämlich aus der ersten und die anderen haben damit gar nix zu tun.
Bei mir hat der Reg-Eintrag damals das Problem nämlich gelöst!
Da du es nun geschafft hast würde mich interessieren wie, wenn du keinen Bock hast brauchste es net zu schreiben, aber ich will ja auch was dazulernen :D

:p aber das hab ich mittlerweile schon gecheckt;)
mein problem ist momentan leider immernoch

und es geht nicht mehr weiter... :(

Ne, müsste so laufen! Jetzt schau mal noch ob die Verzeichnisse die du da eingestellt hast auch vorhanden sind!
Vorallem eben Programs und Start Menu
