(ein "sorry" vorab für dieses lange posting )
ich,<--(unwissender newbie) möchte unter meiner SuSE 7.2 PR den nvidia-treiber benutzen.
meine Graka ist eine Elsa Erozor III pro video, 32MB AGP (riva TNT 2)
ich habe die Autoupdatefunktion unter sax2 benutzt, um mir den nvidia Treiber
zu install'n.
nach dem editieren mit vi und einem reboot, kommt leider immer dieser Fehler
hier [siehe 1], wenn ich glxinfo zum Testen starte.
bzw. mein X Server startet halt erst gar nicht.
der crash ist immer ein fatal error mit : no screens found ":0.0"
ich muste also die Zeilen load glx und nvidia ändern damit X wieder läuft.
ich weiss halt nicht was nun an meiner XF86Cconfig falsch ist :-?
bzw., wo und was ich bei display,screen, modes usw. ändern soll / muß ?
Außer <load glx> und <nv zu nvidia> habe ich nichts verändert.
muß ich auch noch in der xf86config angeben, daß nach AGP gesucht werden soll
und wenn ja wie ?
wäre schön, wenn ihr mir weiterhelfen könntet :)
