diablo2 mit 1 cdrom laufwerk

hab die cd auf die pladde kopiert ... wine / winex setup.exe/install.exe ergibt bitte install cd einlegen ... weiss einer rat?

war im falschen forum, habs richtig verschoben. evtl will diablo2 die daten von einem CD-ROM-Laufwerk haben. C&C1 hat das gleichen "Problem". Du wirst es wohl von CD installieren müssen.

geht ja nicht ... weil das laufwerk dann unter benutzung ist und somit kann man es nicht unmounten

hi,

wenn du nur ein cdrom hast, musst du wine aus einem anderen verzeichnis starten als das cdrom-verzeichnis.
sollange du dich noch in /mnt/cdrom aufhälst, kannst du das cdrom nicht unmounten.
du musst dann natürlich die pfadangaben mitgeben, also etwa so "wine /mnt/cdrom/setup.exe" die installation starten.

hm hab jetzt mit wine /cdrom/install.exe gestartet
wenn er die play cd haben will und ich will unmounten ... device is busy
was komisch ist, auch wenn ich wine und alles beendet hab, ist des device immer noch busy?
gibts ein erzwungenes unmounten? egal ob busy oder nich?

Was mein Vorredner schon meinte, wenn du mit der Console oder einem Windowmanager im CD-Rom-Pfad bist, kannst du es nicht unmounten. Schau ansonsten mal in den Taskmanager, ob wine oder ein anderes Programm das auf das Laufwerk zugegriffen hat, nicht richtig beendet wurde. Es funktioniert ansonsten garantiert.

es gab mal ein howto, wo man die cd's auf die platte kopiert usw.....habs nach stunden gefunden, aus dem archiv von google, das kostet dich was ;)

How to do it


1. Mount CD2 and copy it to /mnt/d2cd2.
2. Mount CD3 and copy it to /mnt/d2cd3.
3. Add the paths to your CD-ROM's in wine.conf, example:
[Drive G]
"Path" = "/mnt/d2cd2"
"Type" = "cdrom"
"Label" = "Diablo II CD2"
"Filesystem" = "win95"
4. Save the file and exit.
5. Mount CD1 and do wine SETUP.exe in that dir.
6. Now just install it as u would in windows but select the correct cdroms if neccesary. Ehm do full install, it will save u trouble.
7. Remember Cancel when the Setup wants to create shortcuts and stuff.
8. If it hooks up at the end just wait a while and then kill the window.
9. Some wine.conf settings you may want to alter:
; Use XFree86 DGA extension if present
"UseDGA" = "Y"
; Enable DirectX mouse grab
"DXGrab" = "Y"
; Create the desktop window with a double-buffered visual
; (useful to play OpenGL games)
"DesktopDoubleBuffered" = "Y"
10. Now make sure that ur mode is 800x600 or above because D2's starting screen is 800x600 though playing is only 640x480.
DXGrab is good because then u cant move ur mouse outside the wine screen.
11. If u did full install u can delete d2cd3 from ur disk but keep d2cd2 cuz thats the playing disk and u need it.
12. Well well nuff said, cd /where/u/installed/d2/
13. Do wine Game.exe (Have fun!).
