Merry Christmas !
As everybody else is doing a Xmas version, to be a bit different, this is the one-year-old version

NEW :

- Divx no longer mandatory, using heavlity FFmpeg instead
- Update to ffmpeg 0.4.6 (the official version :) )
- New filter subtitle, you will need freetype2. Can read .sub and .srt files, you can select font (.ttf) and size.
- Added a parameter to stabilize filter
- New button OUTPUT to see the ouput of filters when playing (much faster than preview window)
- Added more MP2/MP3/AC3 encoding bitrate on the low side
- You can now also edit (i.e. ctrl-X ) video with MP3 VBR audio
- More command line interface. For example
./avidemux --load movie.avi --video-process --video-codec Xvid --video-conf 2pass=500 --save /tmp/done.avi --quit


BugFix :

- MP3 CBR signature now windows friendly (in case you still have friends running windows)
- When FFmpeg was used as decoder, smart copy was buggy, fixed
- Cutting WMA now works, BUT you have to enter 372 as bytes per packet in file->mux options
- Fixed (?) autoconf for arts, should build even with non standard I-path
- Some little things
