Hab ein Problem mit XP und Samba.
Der Zugriff von Windows_98 auf Samba geht problemlos.
Hab jetzt mal Windows_XP installiert, das seltsame ist ich kann die Ordner sehen, aber nicht zugreifen, wieso dass denn?
encrypt password = true
ist in smb.conf enthalten
welche Version von Samba läuft denn???
Ich habs jetzt hingekriegt, kann aber nicht mehr sagen an was es jetzt genau lag. Hier mein aktuelle smb.conf mit Windows XP und Samba 2.2.3a-12:

kleiner Hinweis noch. Der Schlüssel bind interfaces only macht ohne interfaces keinen Sinn. Bei Interfaces werden Netzwerkadressen eingetragen.
kannst du mir mal ein Beispiel geben
Hab die Ursache gefunden. Meine alte smb.conf enthielt in der
[global] --> veto files = /.*/
Anscheinend hat XP damit Probleme, bei W98 gings ohne Probleme.
Nun hab ich aber das Problem:
WIE VERSTECKE ICH NUN VERSTECKTE VERZEICHNISSE/DATEIEN (. mit Punkt) VOR WINDOWS XP
Was muss ich da in smb.conf eintragen?
