Hallo Leute,
ich hoffe mir kann da wer weiterhelfen.

Ich möchte gerne von der AS/400 ein Freigegebenes Netzlaufwerk (Internal File System IFS) in Linux einbinden. NFS fällt aus..(Sicherheit).
Jetzt habe ich mit smbmout gearbeitet. Der Connect ist möglich. Jedoch, wenn ich in fstab einen eintrag wie:

//ipnummer/verzeichnis /mountpoint smbfs user,noauto,username="user",password="pw" 0 0
eintrage schlägt das fehl.

Manuell mit:
mount -t smbfs -o username=blanbla,password=blabla //ipnummer/Verzeichnis /Zielverzeichnis/Unterverzeichnis

werde ich nach einem Passwort gefragt. Nach der Eingabe erwarte ich im /Zielverz/Unterverz. den Inhalt des IFS. Jedoch sehe ich das /Unterverzeichnis nicht mehr! Weder im Kde noch auf der Konsole.

Erst wenn ich den umount //ipnummer/Verzeichnis absetze, sehe ich das /Unterverzeichnis wieder!

Über Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar!

Hallo,

laut man mount wird IFS nicht unterstützt.


-t vfstype
The argument following the -t is used to indicate
the file system type. The file system types which
are currently supported are: adfs, affs, autofs,
coda, coherent, cramfs, devpts, efs, ext, ext2,
ext3, hfs, hpfs, iso9660, minix, msdos, ncpfs, nfs,
ntfs, proc, qnx4, reiserfs, romfs, smbfs, sysv,
udf, ufs, umsdos, vfat, xenix, xfs, xiafs. Note
that coherent, sysv and xenix are equivalent and
that xenix and coherent will be removed at some
point in the future -- use sysv instead. Since ker_
nel version 2.1.21 the types ext and xiafs do not
exist anymore.


Und wie diesem Text zu entnehmen ist, scheinst Du nicht der einzige mit diesem Problem zu sein .... http://archive.midrange.com/linux5250/200107/msg00054.html
