Hi@all,
auf meinem Debian- Router/Firewall habe ich in der Datei ppp_on_boot folgende Einträge:

PPPD=/usr/sbin/pppd
# The Ethernet interface the DSL modem is connected to. If you change this,

/sbin/ifconfig $INTERFACE up
$PPPD call dsl-provider

Den Eintrag "Interface" verstehe ich nicht oder besser, verstehen tue ich den schon. Der gibt doch das Interface an, an welchem das DSL-Modem angeschlossen ist. Das DSL-Modem hängt aber an eth0 (ganz sicher!) und ich frage mich einfach wieso es dann funktioniert?
