Hallo,
ich habe eine Partition /usr/serv welche ich nicht mit tripwire checken lassen kann.
* Error: The object: "filename" is on a different filesystem...ignoring.
Tripwire will not follow a symbolic link for security purposes. Tripwire will return a warning after the link file (object) is scanned but, will not follow the link. Below is an example of a symbolic link and the returned warning.
/etc/localtime -> ../usr/share/zoneinfo/US/Pacific
The object: "/usr" is on a different file system...ignoring.
This warning message is misleading because the full path of the object isn't returned. The complete path of the symbolic link /etc/localtime is not returned, only the first level of the directory, "/usr" is shown. In future releases of Tripwire this will be changed to return the full path of the symbolic link.
Ich habe aber gar keinen symbolischen link.
Weis jemand rat?
Cu,
Sven
