hi leute,

könnt ihr mir sagen, worauf ich achten muss, wenn ich den samba einrichte, damit ich die kiste auch von windows aus a) anpingen kann und b) auch dann per explorer drauf zugreifen kann.

hab red-hat 8.0
windows dhcp server


Bei mir ist des so

ich seh den rechner in der computerliste vom explorer.
klick ich nun drauf kommt die meldung


netzwerkpfad wurde nicht gefunden

vielleicht kann mir da ja mal jemand weiterhelfen

das pingen hat ja nichts mit samba zu tun, aber zeig mal die smb.conf.
versuch mal die suchfunktion, das prob war schon öffters da, weiss aber nicht die lösung. samba hat immer ohne probs gefunzt :)

ich weiss aber eben ned..ob das mit dem pingen mit dem samba zusammen hängt..sprich ein prob vom windows her..aber kannst ja mal kucken
