Hallo liebe Leute
Ich habe ein Server suse 7.1 auf gesetzt und den apache am laufen.
Die User die ich an gelegt habe haben auch ein public_html verzeichnis.
Ich komme von windows rechner über ftp auch drauf.
Die dateine die übertragen werden haben aber leider die falschen rechte. es fehlt das recht lesen für alle.(heul)
wo kann ich das einstellen das das so läuft.
Danke für eure Hilfe in vorraus.
was für einen FTP-Server verwendest du?

der mit installiert wird.
wie der heist in suse 7.1 weiss ich nicht.
(ich hraucht nix machen der war einfach da ....

würdest du das bitte feststellen, ich hab heute leider Probleme mit dem raten.
Schau mal was dir "ps ax" sagt und was sich da nach einen FTP-Server anhört. Wennst nix findest, poste bitte die Ausgabe.

Hi,
nach dem der FTP-Server hier nicht aufscheint nehme ich an, dass du ihn über den inetd startest. was steht denn in der /etc/inetd.conf? Irgendwas von FTP oder Port 21 dort zu sehen?

Hi,
hier hört mein Wissen leider auf, ich kenn den in.ftpd nicht. Installier dir mal den proftpd mit dem habe ich keine Probleme. Wenn du ihn dann hast musst du aufpassen, dass die "umask" im ConfigFile auf 022 ist, dann passt alles.
der proftpd muss bei deiner Distri dabei sein.
