Hi
Ich schaffe es einfach nicht, dass bei meinem Brenner und meinem DVD Laufwerk SCSI emuliert wird. Ich hab mich ganz an dieses HOWTO gehalten: http://www.pl-berichte.de/t_hardware/brenner.html
In meinem Kernel (2.4.19) ist also
SCSI support
SCSI CD-ROM support
SCSI generic support
Enable vendor-specific extensions
Verbose SCSI error reporting (kernel size +=12K)
Enhanced IDE/MFM/RLL disc/cdrom/tape/floppy support
SCSI emulation support
Generic PCI bus-master DMA support
USE PCI DMA by default when available
ISO 9660 CDROM filesystemsupport
Microsoft Joliet CDROM extensions
aktiviert und
Probe all LUNs on each SCSI device
Include IDE/ATAPI CDROM support
deaktiviert.
In meiner menu.lst (/boot ist auf einer gesonderten Partition. Falls das wichtig sein sollte) steht
$default 0
timeout 0
splashimage=(hd0,0)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title=Gentoo Linux
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/bzImage root=/dev/hda3 hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi
Unter /dev bekommte ich bei 'ls -al sc*'
brw-r--r-- 1 root root 11, 0 Sep 1 2002 scd0
brw-r--r-- 1 root root 11, 1 Sep 1 2002 scd1
Und trotzdem gibts nach nem reboot nix von SCSI. Bei /proc sind die LW hdd und hdc immernoch unter ide.

Ach jo: warum kann ich bei Opera kein richtiges Copy&Paste machen??
