Hallo,

kleines problem: habe mir fetchmail eingerichtet: hier /root/.fetchmailrc

poll xyz.abc.net protocol pop3
user "4640370", with password mypw, is tobias here
user "4865465", with password mypw, is tobias here
user "5911837", with password mypw, is tobias here
user "7800321", with password mypw, is tobias here

Er holt aber keine mails ab. Grund: sendmail bringt diese Fehlermeldung: "domain of sender addres xyz@abc.com does not resolve" und verweigert die Abnahme. Hört sich so an als sind das DNS-Probleme(/etc/mail/switch.conf: files dns)

Hier noch mal ein grösserer Ausschnit vom fetchmail-log:

...
fetchmail: SMTP< 250 HELP
fetchmail: forwarding to localhost
fetchmail: SMTP> MAIL FROM:<service@diba.de> SIZE=3080
fetchmail: SMTP< 451 4.1.8 <service@diba.de>... Domain of sender address service@diba.de does not resolve
fetchmail: SMTP> RSET
fetchmail: SMTP< 250 2.0.0 Reset state
fetchmail: Saved error is still 451
fetchmail: SMTP error: 250 2.0.0 Reset state
.. not flushed
fetchmail: POP3> RETR 2
fetchmail: POP3< +OK message follows
reading message 2 of 2 (3080 octets) ...
Programme+Versionen:
SuSE 7.1
sendmail 8.11.2
fetchmail 5.6.0
wvdial 1.41

Habe jetzt in /etc/sendmail.cf
SCanonical=3
auf
SCanonical=0
geändert + sendmail neu gestart.
Scheint zu funktionieren, mal abwarten...
