Drucker will nicht

Drucker: Epson Stylus Color ESC/P2
Treiber: CUPS 1.1.15 + gimp_print 4.3.3
Der Drucker funktioniert in Windows und ist per Direktzugriff auf das Device /dev/lp0 auch unter Linux ansprechbar.

Jetzt mein Problem: Seit kurzem kann ich nicht mehr drucken. Ich habe jetzt sämtliche Pakete, die mit Drucken zu tun haben entfernt und CUPS, gimp_print und ghostview neu kompiliert und installiert. Trotzdem macht der Drucker keine Anstalten die Druckaufträge auszuführen.

Ich denke mal die entscheidende Stelle ist "Unable to convert file 0 to printable format...", ich habe aber keine Ahnung, wie ich das Problem beheben kann.

Nachtrag: Ich hab jetzt einfach mal versucht ein normales JPEG auszudrucken und das hat tatsächlich problemlos funktioniert :)
Liegt anscheinend an irgendwelchen fehlenden Filtern, leider habe ich davon überhaupt keine Ahnung...
