Hallo erstmal,
Letzte Tage hab ich mit gedacht, das wir doch aus alten Restteilen einen Supi-LAN-Server aufstellen koennte. Da wir aber "nur" nen 266Mhz mit 32MB RAM haben, haben wir uns gedacht, das man da doch perfekt Linux einsetzen könnte. Das ist allerdings mit einem Problem gepaart:

Also, wenn ich über die erste CD von Suse 8.0 boote, dann auf Install gehe, stoppt der Installer mit folgendem Fehler(hoffe das ich genug schreibe):
Moving into tmpfs..._alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed (gfp=0x1d2/0)
//modules/sym53c8xx-old.o: Out of memory
__alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed (gfp=0x1d2/0)
VM:killing process linuxrc
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-8, errno = 2
VFS: Cannotopen root device "" or 08:01
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:01
Habs schon mit SafeMode versuch, ohne Erfolg, da kommt dann ne Info, das das der Linux-Installer ist, und er stoppt mit Kernel Panic (Blinkende Tasten).
Hoffe das mir einer von euch helfen kann.
