recht einfache Frage zu Postgres und pg_xlog

Wann werden die Dateien in pg_xlog gelöscht?

Das eigentlich löschen übernimmt https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/archive-recovery-settings.html#ARCHIVE-CLEANUP-COMMAND was entsprechend eingerichtet werden muss - siehe auch:
https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/wal-intro.html und https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/wal-configuration.html

Wenn nichts gelösch wird, liegt es idR daran, dass das archive_command nicht richtig konfiguriert ist -siehe auch: https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/continuous-archiving.html#BACKUP-ARCHIVING-WAL

Wenn alles im argen liegt https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/app-pgresetwal.html - nicht zu empfehlen, sollte aber auch in xlog aufräumen

Ahh und es ist nicht wirklich einfach ;)
